OK so I came across this image called 'Girl and Tree' quite self explanatory that its a girl and a tree, too bad it didn't give her name or the type of tree, oak? it'll keep me up at night now!
Anyway so back on track, The top image 'Girl and Tree' is by a photographer named Bruce gray, http://www.brucegray.com/htmlfolder/html_subpages/girlandtree.html here is the link i found the image on, gosh knows how i came across it! i tend to loose control on what i browse and i can never remember how i found things. This image struck me by its simplicity and minimal props and editing. Its an average black and white image with a woman stood in a gown next to a tree, but i instantly liked it for the fact that it was just that!
So i recreated it. My camera, setting, tree and model (i use the term model extremely loosely, i wouldn't even say model but i cant think of anything else to call me) Maye not be as good as the original image, But i know for sure that my dress is 1000 times better! not being big headed I'm just in love with it!! I found it at a dress store i sadly cant remember the name in Liverpool over a year ago and instantly fell in love! I tried it on in the hope it would fit, and i just had to have it! i felt like a 1920's 'extra fancy' bride! i loved it!
And by the way, i had no white gloves like the original girl, so i turned my marigolds inside out...great affect!!
